I have seen crank pulleys, they fail because the rubber damping part comes loose from the center hub.
There is no seal on them at all, the seal is behind the crank pulley and not attached to it. It stay in the block when you remove the pulley. it might be smart to change the oil seal while the pulley is off, but my motto is why touch it if it still works fine.
Do not drive the car with the wobbly pulley as it is in the process of coming apart and you do not want it flying loose under the hood and causing more in damage than the cost of the pulley.
