The SRTs will have the number 7 in the 6th position from the left. Limited and basic will have either a 5 or 6.

After doing a cursory check on www.carsdirect.com, I found six Crossfires listed as SRT-6s that were not (combination of picture and VIN confirmation) I reported this info to carsdirect and they were somewhat confused, but promised to notify the resellers of the erroneous listings.

I bought my SRT-6 via carsdirect back in January for $28K with 700 miles on it. Ran Carfax and really checked it out before purchase. Fortunately the dealer was only 40 miles away and I could go and see the vehicle.

The Carsdirect listings are a perfect example of Caveat Emptor (let the buyer beware). Lot's of good deals out there, just be careful...especially if you are traveling any distance to pick the car up or are having it shipped to you.
