It is not necessarily a function of price. As a matter,of fact, it rarely is. You have an uncommon special interest car. Chrysler and Mercedes never sold many with all thier marketing power and today even fewer people know what a fine car the Crossfire is.
One of the pluses is also a minus. It is a stick. That featue alone narrows the potential buyers as it did for my Volvo R wagon. But when the right buyer was found he quickly flew in from across the country with cash to beat out the two back up buyers.
Price had little to do with the sale. Condition, service to buyer, documented history, transmission and miles were much more important.
