You guys do realize that 25 years from now, some so called "judge" will be taking points off your car at some car show for not having the correct intake cover.

You can always just repaint it again, I don't think mine will stay clean that long anyway.
You just need to do a light sand before painting to give the new paint something to grab to so the new paint will stick better.
