Default Re: Baseline Dyno Run Results

The odd thing is that the SLK320 has a built-in dyno mode but that mode has been removed from our cars. My guess is that the dyno they have posted is from a SLK320 and they just fudged it to appear to be a Crossfire.

ahhh... that seems most logical... using the SLK data...

Like HDDP says the thing wouldn't even run on the dyno without popping fuses. I actually popped 17 and 18, not the main F5 (I think) in the ECU compartment like HDDP did. I might even ring Modadcar myself - I just don't understand all this 'smoke and mirrors' stuff. If I find out how to disable the TC without resorting to the 'electrickery' route I am taking then I would gladly post how it’s done.

as far as calling... i didn't catch his name... didn't want to corner him too much... but he seemed quite helpful.... the kid that answered said he was new to the job and passed me over to the tech...

i was going to call him back and invite him to this thread... but i don't want to muss things up... for you guys IF modacar found a "way" to trick or get the genuine results... esp. if you were going to give them a call...

let me know...
