I went to Mercedes with this number and they said that it didn't correlate to o anything... I'm assuming that the part must now be obsolete.. Does anyone know where I could get one of these?
I've added a photo of one that I found on an old thread in this forum.
Many new cars have the battery in the trunk and the vent is a hose that diverts the gases and any acid to the outside of the car. This may be a viable solution with the little hose venting beneath the car rather than using the vent/trap.
