Default Re: Roadster rear window problem solved?

I went with the aftermarket replacement for my 2005. The installer I used (Lim's in Northern VA) said the Chrysler top only came with a 12 month warranty, the aftermarket has a lifetime warranty. I have had the new one for a couple years now and it was been fine. Unfortunately I have no idea who the manufacturer is.

Same warranty issue with a catalytic converter I had to replace last year, aftermarket Mercedes part had lifetime warranty, Chrysler was only 12 months. I really think Fiat-Chrysler doesn't want to provide parts support for this model.
