While in the hospital, my father-n-law was telling me about several coins he saw while visiting Canada a few years back. He wanted to save a couple to bring home but ended up spending them before he left. After searching around the internet, it appears they may have been $2 coins or more. They have two colors, or metals used. Similar to my attachment for an example. Are these coins common in your country?

I would like to get some for him. I would gladly pay you for them while at Woodward. Maybe as many as 10 different ones in good condition if they are available.

You can post here or prefer PM.

Thanks, James
Those coins are in common circulation, we call them toonies, they replaced the two dollar bill. They got the name from the one dollar coin that has a loon on, which was given the name loonie.
The five dollar bill is the smallest paper (plastic) currency we have, we do take donations of any paper US currency.
I forgot to mention that the one cent coin was dropped entirely, prices at the cash register are rounded up or down to th nearest five cents.
As Beaner mentions below most bills are now printed on plastic not paper, you can see through them.
