Obviously you have to start with the codes that are present. A slow response from an 02 sensor will give you those codes. May not be the reason for the problem your having but never the less it has to be addressed first. Sounds more like a crank sensor going bad or intermittently failing then resetting on a restart. Sometimes when these things act like this they may not give a code.
