I can't answer your question about CFM, but I believe our fan is up to the task when it is told to by the controller. I've run autocross in 105deg.heat and never climbed past 206deg. ECT, even after heat soak at the end of the day. If you haven't already, remove the rear hood gasket to let some heat escape. You can also run a more diluted coolant in the summer (25%/75%)for example, for better cooling. I run 100% distilled water and a bottle of Water Wetter from Needswings in my IC circuit most the year round since we rarely freeze here, but I do add/mix a little antifreeze in if we expect a freeze.
Thanks for the tip. Yeah I've been running the recommended from the factory and think I may be able to get it a tick cooler by running mainly distilled water. I just remember past vehicles and running an aftermarket one and it helped but that was mainly because the original was belt driven.
I would you a killer chiller but being in Houston the A/C is very much needed at its peak performance!
