Thanks all, so looks it like the car pretty much has to go to a dealer to get programmed if any issues arise. Any other way seems like a crap shoot which ultimately may lead to a dealer anyways. The one thing is the dealer is not responsible if my unit malfunctions. I found a certified MB shop nearby which I will contact to see if they handle the AMG model. If so that may be a better route next time. Anyone have any experience going that avenue?
