Just a comment but this time of year we get frog stranglers - torrential rainstorms - almost daily so my primary concern is wet traction. I generally use Michelins on cars I plan to keep but the Crossie came with Continental Extreme Contacts and they have remarkably good wet traction.


Did dump the half worn OEM Goodyears on my Jeep when started seeing the traction control light a lot when wet. Michelins are not cheap but worth it for me.
