+1...

I picked up a CoverKing thru Auto Anything (the Autobody Armor custom fit cover). CK covers are available custom fit to any iteration of XFire... hardtop, roadster, N/A or SRT. They're not the cheapest covers on Earth, but it fits like an absolute glove and protects the car really well. They say the Autobody Armor cover will also protect against a slight door ding, but Im not anxious to verify their claim on that.

HOWEVER... one of my most beloved pet-peeves is the bonehead that doesnt give a shirt about dinging my car simply because they're either too lazy, or too unaware of themselves to hold their door from smacking into my car. Since I sold my house and live in an apartment for the time being, this became a bigger issue (even in a garage). So I decided to pick up a couple of yoga mats and 2" wide nylon strapping off of Ebay and make a "ding guard".
Its a slight PITA getting all that crap off the car before taking it out, but its WAAAY less of a PITA than finding out someone bopped my car.

The yoga mat on top of the car is one of my wifes old mats, so I threw it up there just in case of an incoming meteor strike.

(Just in case anyone is interested, thats a Suzuki Hayabusa on the lift behind the car... for when "SRT fast" just aint fast enough).
