Default Re: heated seat problem - questions

My opinion, the Crossfire heated seat design is flawed! I had both seats replaced (at different times) and the heating elements went out again on both. So, I took my drivers seat out and had a friend who has an Auto upholstery shop take it apart and look at it. He showed me the seriously cheap design flaw... we were both amazed at how bad the wiring is. The wires heat up, get cold over and over then they harden over time, turn brittle and break. Anyways, he suggested I get and install aftermarket heated pads as the original wires to foam design from Chrysler is a joke!
I never did install the aftermarket pads... Just sit on cold seats in the winter 😟
