Can't believe that's true, but it's what he said!
Previously:
BAS/ESP, ABS, Check Engine lights coming on - intermittently at first, then pretty consistently.
Car driving OK, except for cruise control not working.
Replaced 2 x ABS sensors which were testing faulty but lights still on after clearing codes.
Now seems the gearbox speed sensor needs replaced, hence above question.
Any help much appreciated...!
The speed sensor is mounted on the electrical plate located just above the sump pan. Remove the pan, remove the plate and replace the sensor if required.
Or you could do as they say for thousands of pounds more. LOL
I'll see if I can find a picture of it.
What codes are being set, find out before spending any money.
