Default longest lasting rear window repair

Who has the longest lasting rear window repair? After 11 years mine finally came loose. I was parked and came out to find only about 24 " along the top edge still attached Thank goodness for that because it made it a lot easier to attach and align. I did the repair according to the sticky and overall it went great. The only two things I did different was to leave the masking tape on until I set the sealant, scrapped it off while still soft and pealed off the masking leaving a nice edge. I didn't have to scrape off the excess after it hardened. I was wondering though, from those who did this earlier, what the long term results have been, so far.
