I said I do not know if the part is the same, as it is the total truth, I do not know (by this I don't mean that it isn't, only that I don't know!).

I did check the part number, and after various pages of google results, the only parts with that specific number that I could find were in the US and listed for Chrysler and for Dodge.

I did also research the R170 alarm module, and there are 6 different ones that I can find, none of which coincide with the specific Chrysler part num.

I also checked 4 online suppliers that stock Crossfire parts in Europe, none of which have the Alarm module. Actually, I lie, I found one place that had a record of the part number, but the whole page was in Russian (yes, I could do a Googleation, but at that point I would rather just order from the US).

I am not sure what "fly off on a Tangent means", but according to google it means "suddenly start talking or thinking about a completely new subject", which I am sure that... oooh, cookies!!
You said you did not have the chance to look into it, I took that at face value and less than an hour later you say you have looked into it. I am not offended just confused.
I find it hard to believe that a Bosch siren with the correct part number is not available in Europe.
