BTW, I have a spare one of those pumps, it is not an "engine coolant pump", it is only for circulation through the heater cores while you are RESTing.
It is an engine coolant pump because that is what it does, that is my description of it not its official name which I find is Recirculating Pump in the parts list or just plain Water Pump in the Service Manual.
The REST function is the only reason that I can see why the AC fan motor would get any power with the ignition OFF. There are two lights on the REST switch and I have not looked at what the top left one does for sure, the bottom right is on with the iggy OFF and the light goes OFF when the car starts if it was ON before.
