Default Re: longest lasting rear window repair

My rear window fell out/detached from the convertible top back in 2010 or 2011. I didn't even bother trying to go through Chrysler. A buddy and I carefully cleaned off the factory adhesive from the glass as well as the top and then resecured the glass with a 3M caulk/adhesive. It turned out great once I got the excess adhesive cleaned up. The car is almost always garaged but has been exposed to some hot summer days and countless up/down top cycles without any further issues.

I did the repair according to the sticky and overall it went great. The only two things I did different was to leave the masking tape on until I set the sealant, scrapped it off while still soft and pealed off the masking leaving a nice edge. I didn't have to scrape off the excess after it hardened. I was wondering though, from those who did this earlier, what the long term results have been, so far.
