Roadster 2006 .. Vehicle sat for about 7 weeks. Started right up, and as I let her idle to
warm up, I smelled gas. After moving her out of the garage, I noticed a puddle of gas inward of the passenger rear tire .. got underneath and nothing dripping at that point, but
the shroud protecting the gas tank, wet around that drain hole.
Question: tank was almost 3/4 full; would this be enough fuel to push it out of the overflow
tube? It has never happened before. Drove it for approx. 50 miles and nothing; no smell or
dripping underneath; it was dry as a bone. Is this normal operating procedure when a car
sits for a long time ? Thanks 7,000 mile 2006 Roadster ...
