If you ever watch the show "Wheeler Dealers" they once featured an SLK320 that had the BAS/ESP light on. Their issue was a faulty Yaw sensor in the center console. The video used to be on YouTube but i noticed now it seems to be removed. I found that episode helpful in understanding the Crossfire.
