You can't fail to have seen some of the truly terrifying Russian dashcam footage on YouTube which makes most UK stuff seem pretty tame - plus there's more appearing from the US every week - how long before it becomes a legal requirement, rather than just a premium-saver?

Anyway, my basic cover from esure is about £160 - for the SRT6... before adding 'Motor legal cover' etc - that's with about 9 years NCD and I get a small discount for having multiple policies with them, but still a far cry from some of these crazy prices.
Even when I was with Sainsbury's Bank previously, it was under £300 with only 5 years NCD.
