What I said is wrong, I should have looked at the wrenches before shooting from the lip. The sizes on the wrenches have the BSF and Whitworth sizes, for example a 5/16 Whit (BSW) has the same across flats size as a 3/8 BSF.
Whitworth threads are coarse threads and BSF are fine threads.
