Steve--It smells like unburnt gas--fumes--Not oil. If a plug was fouling, wouldn't I notice that while on the road also? No lights on the dash light up, and there was no code. Could any codes be thrown without any engine light? It does seem more like it is not getting any gas, and when you give it some throttle, either nothing happens or it just breaks out of its funk and revs a bit. I can go out in the morning and it is fine.
