Ok.....I don't mean to upset anyone by not doing an exhaustive search but I need a simple question answered without spending all day looking for it.

Here it is. Using the dipstick "tool" and the engine not warmed up to operating temperature, where should the fluid level be on the dipstick ?

I want to believe that it should be between the first set of marks on the dipstick tool. Am I wrong ? If so then what ? Thanks in advance.
