These parts are so amazingly simple to change. You can have the old control arm out of the car within 5 minutes of having the wheel off. There is absolutely NO way this should take 400 dollars in labor. You do not even need an alignment after replacement. This car by far has the easiest upper control arm replacement I have ever done. It is one long bolt with a nut that passes thru the front tower and a nut on the ball joint. You would be amazed at how easy this is to replace.
