hmmm.....not sure there were issues with the 65's...mainly the 62's and like internet/facebook - people only post negatives - so the representation is biased from the outset.
There are many different manufacturers and designs now. Springs/rivets/clearances/remaining material after machining etc. all influence longevity.
A lot of people have been sourcing Polish steel ones (ie: from Poland) over the past 6months - but then again - they have only been in mass service for 6 months - so could be considered "still under mass market testing".

I have a Code 3....65mm one and never a problem in 4yrs and 10k miles of many WOT's. But I believe these are hard to get now a days.
