buckeyedad42, there was no furor intended. My comments referred to the change from the original mesh grille to this fiberglass frame that, while I understand is a bolt in replacement, will need to be paint matched. That is what I meant by "front end job" as it isn't something that everyone can do at home (unless they have a paint shop in their garage). The mesh grille that was originally shown could have been a direct bolt in and go. The additional cost of trying to get it paint matched, TO ME, makes it a dud...because anyone with an SSB Crossfire is going to have one heck of a time getting it matched.

I apologize to you for the way that your post went. There are just a couple of forum "bullies" that want to come after you with over-zealous bs if you don't agree with them or say what they want you to say. I find it better to feed their egos and let them declare themselves "winners" than to degrade what I think is a great forum of varying knowledge and preferences.

I do appreciate very much what CTD has done, and hopefully will continue to do, for the Crossfire. Tino has been very involved with us and I also hope that he continues. The grille just doesn't "do it" for me (as in the current renderings) but I will continue to follow it and see how it develops and what others do with it.
