My dealer couldn't do it ... my car had 141 miles on the odometer, but the FSS was reading negative numbers. I read up on it in the manual and did just as Andrew posted ... like 5 times ... good thing I remembered the mileage on the trip counter because it reset that before I got the FSS to reset. It's a timing thing ... you do as posted above, but you have to time it just right.
