Okay my drivers side map light is exhibiting all the standard problems cited in the various relevant thread(s). Purchased a hot glue gun and am ready to repair. What specifically gets glued on the fixture. Last thing I need is to go in and apply glue to areas it doesn't need to be applied to. My understanding (feeble as it is) is that the metal run to the socket needs to be glued down. Correct ??
