Well we installed it and now I'm hearing some funny noises. He described it as a boost leak, whereas to me it sounds more like a "sucking" noise (Intake sucking air, not the other sucking noises).

Things I've noticed:
1) No major increase in performance. Probably due to the belt slipping?? looking into Tighed1 DIY Belt Wrap.

2) The sucking noise, or boost leak as my buddy described it. How well do the metal intake gaskets hold?? I did remove my intake manifold to check for a leaking intercooler and reused the factory gasket.

3) I got on the car once, right after the install. It acted like the IC pump was bad (which I know is not the case, I recently replaced it). After getting on it, it lost a lot of power, delay in throttle response, couldn't feel no boost.

I need to stop tinkering with my cars.

Thanks for the help gentleman!
Did you upgrade your fuel pump and tune for it? It may starve for fuel on the top of the rpm band. Which means the car will die out.
You will need a belt rap kit. Latemodel21 or Needswings.
Metal gaskets can break down over time. Try new gaskets with some copper spray. Torque to 7ftlbs I go 8, but 7 recommended.
