Rob, yep...45 at the top, I like the tight spacing, just eyeballed it (once or twice) but worked great. Blue, honestly, I tried a bunch of stuff...even a combo thick red stripe with a white edge stripe, so it's definitely worth experimenting. I think the 45 actually helps lead the eye down around the curve at the bottom of the door line. I knew exactly what Rob was talking about the Vette stripes (red) so I tried few other places too...had one two coming off the front left wheel well, but it was too much.

FYI...the monokote suggestion was just right. I found some two foot lengths of Airplane striping material at a local Hobby shop (Monokote is a brand name, so I don't know if it's actual Monokote) but that was perfect.
