I found many of the off-brand filament lamp wattages did not come out correctly when tested against ohms law and the voltage applied. Being they are DC, and using a simple formula ( Voltage applied squared, then divided by resistance of the bulb in ohms, will give you the power in watts ) , they were in no way the advertised wattage. I call that 'puffing', to sell them.
