So has someone confirmed Karmann built in sequence order? I see many members talking about their build number. I haven't seen a DC/FCA factory yet build in sequence order. Those Germans are very orderly though.

Yes, Karmann was very orderly in the built sequence with a few minor exceptions. Some 2004s with built issues (?) got pulled off the line and ended up with out of sequence manufacturing dates.
A bunch of early production 2005 Roadsters have built numbers that fall in the sequential range of late 2004 Model Year production.
They were other "normal" production exceptions. Early SRTs and early Model Year cars thrown in the sequential mix of previous Model Years. Nothing out of the ordinary manufacturing process and those cars can be easily identified by their Model Year designation in the VIN.

Is SE 57254 Auto or Manual Trans? Thanks
