The only downside is that the top can't be moved (up or down) and the trunk can't be opened when the rack is attached. That is OK for my use because I only take it for short trips.

That's great news! I have been looking for a rack since I bought my xfire and the Bones was the only one that looked like it might fit. However I emailed the manufacturer and they replied that it would not fit, so I gave up on the idea. I also asked the dealer and they suggested I use a tow hitch mounted rack.
Are you carrying a road bike or an MTB?
