Hi,
What size of hole did you need to cut?
I have a set of skar tx65c components, says a 1" tweeter but the cutout for the mounting cup needs to be 2 1/16".
The cup is 1" deep, I was hoping to mount cup in factory location, but the cup is to big for the tweeter trim and to small to install without the tweeter trim ring

I would have to do alot of dremel work on the silver trim rings to mount the cup to the trim ring, and alot of dremel work taking out the factory tweeter mounting for room for the tweeter cup.
To drill a 2 1/16 hole and use the cup with a flat flange would be really close.
Do you think depth would be a issue?
I already have black stretchy suede clot I am planning on doing the headliner, front pillars and probably the rear also.
Finding suede that stretches was hard to find.
If you had to do it over, would you stay in the same location, or mount farther up or down the pillar?
Would you keep the tweeters facing toward the windshield or towards the seats?
