Yes, buy a front end cover (Bra) for the car. Chrysler makes a fairly nice one. I use it everyday, minus the hood portion, as I drive interstate back and forth to work. I have no front end chips at almost 17,000 miles. The cover comes off on weekends for local driving, on two lane roads. Just remember, keep the car waxed under the cover, and never leave a wet cover on the paint, especially in hot sun. I have been using them since 1979, and never had a problem, as long as I followed the above recommendations.
Or, you can get the clear cover(3M type) which is permanently attached to the car. The only problem I have seen, is these do take the rock hits, but the damage to the plastic is visible. This is one of those, "to each his own" decisions.
