I worry more about holing one of the low profile tires than an engine issue. The SLK320 was a pretty solid vehicle. I've driven it Michigan-to-Florida and MI-to-CT a couple times. I used to drive it weekly across MI. It's "only" at 56k miles but other than doing routine and preventive maintenance, it (the roadster) is a reliable car so far. It's pretty much the same for the SRT6, but I am not motivated to drive it as far due to stiffer ride and gas mileage, but I probably run it around town and for Sunday country drives more often.
