Enjoy the ride! I find the car very comfortable for the long trips, but I'm kind of a small guy. 500 ~ 600 miles is my target per day. Plan and book ahead for your motel rooms and you'll save a tidy sum vice just walking in and looking for a room. Use cruise control and you will get 28 to 30 miles per gallon on a limited; I'm not sure what an SRT-6 can get.
Driving straight through from Fort Lauderdale to home some 1,500 miles or so my son and I found the SRT could pass anything on the road except a gas station.
