Is simple, the tighter the turn, the more a LSD will help. So more in an autocross than a road race.


In a drag race you want a locker more than an LSD though some have had good luck with one air lift.


The issue in a straight line is that engine torque will unload one rear tire while loading the other. With enough power you need to compensate for that. Relocating the battery over the unloaded wheel is another way.
