Simple requests from Forum members for tire info (i.e., brand, tire model, size) would go a long way to helping Jjb015 diagnose his issue with excessive tire wear. From everything I've read in this thread, tire wear is pretty even but wore out quickly. Sounds like a soft compound tire tread which would do that. Tire may have provided good grip but it comes with a price of rapid wear out. Might not be anything wrong with the car.

Or the rubber chemistry in the Chinese brand is less than optimum resulting in accelerated wear. Years ago, none of us would be surprised by a Chinese tire manufacturer having poor quality control. But today, many of the Chinese sourced tires are competitive with the traditional brands.
