They are most likely the same part, but you pay Chrysler for going to the Mercedes dealer, picking up the part and putting a Chrysler label with the Chrysler part number on it over the top of the Mercedes label. That has got to be worth $200 or why bother to get out of bed.
You probably would get the updated part as well instead of the obsolete part.
Look at your oil pump the Mercedes number is on it somewhere.
