Default Re: SKREEM replaced RCM rebuilt still won't start

They got a new module from Mercedes, reprogrammed it to work with my ECM and keys, and tested everything in their car to ensure it was working properly. Upon receiving the parts back from them, my Crossfire wouldn't even attempt to start. All electronics worked, new SKREEM beeped at me, mileage flashed on the odometer, etc. However, the starter wouldn't even attempt to spin. No clicking, no spinning, no engagement of the starter of any kind.

Because of known problems with the RCM, I removed it and sent it to DJ for him to rebuild and do the me so horny mod to. Upon receiving it back from him, the horn mod works fine, all electrical works, car still makes no attempt to start.

I contacted SOS Diagnostics about the situation and they requested I send the new SKREEM, my ECM, and keys back to them for a re-test. Just got an email from them that they put the parts in their Crossfire and it starts up no problem.

I'm at a loss. Why would my car do the three starts and die before replacing the SKREEM and now not even attempt to start? Why would my parts work in SOS's Crossfire but not my car.

Due to horror stories here, I'm not inclined to have the car towed to a dealer. The blue book on the car is maybe $5,000 so it seems ridiculous to throw $2,000 at trying to have the car fixed.

Curious if any of you here have any suggestions or ideas. The no crank could obviously be the starter itself, solenoid, or even the clutch pedal switch. However, it seems like a slim chance that any of those would have gone out while the ECM and SKREEM were being worked on in Oregon.

Completely at a loss here...
I find it strange that by coincidence that they have a Crossfire on which to test the modules. Maybe they have access to one.
Have you had a scanner look for any codes?
Have you plugged the halo into the SKREEM? That may be a dumb question but who knows.
You should have come here earlier, NeedsWing does the SKREEM for less than $250 including the halo, how does that compare to SOS?
Did you damage the halo?
