Folks, I have been toying with the idea of cutting off the mufflers and just going with the cats. A colleague suggested that this may mess with the ECU and potentially cause damage. The car is only 1,000 kilometers old so I don't want to kill it yet. Is he misinformed or will the resulting lack of backpressure confuse the electronics. Thanks for your help.
