onehundred80, the pump is performing in an erratic manner. On cold start up it runs most of the time but other times it doesn't run which leads me to think there is some sort of issue with the brushes or some other component inside the motor.

Based on the recommendation from alaxfire I was able to find a new replacement pump at a great price and opted to get it. I do intend to disassemble the old unit to see what exactly is going on inside. If it's repairable I'll repair it and have it available as a backup or sell it to someone in need.

Based on your experience what have you seen that causes these pumps to fail? Thanks
