He talking about that big metal thingy that you open up to check and see if the engine is still there when the check engine light comes on.

Hail can sure do some damage, last week in hotel my alarm went off on my phone saying golf ball sized hail was heading my way, I jumped up and went out and pulled the fox under the overhang in front of hotel.
