Very hard to track down a short like this. I would get the pinout of the BCM (IF that is the ONLY thing fed from fuse 7), review all the individual systems switched by it, and then systematically isolate/check each circuit using both the schematic AND MOST IMPORTANT, usual trouble parts that are well known. This will take time, a systematic approach, and LUCK. Good luck, I do not envy your situation.


I wonder if plugging in a salvage BCM (just for a test), would help determine if the BCM is the fault location? I don't have enough experience in this regard. It might help determine if you have a bad BCM, as I read some posts.
