I unplugged the existing plate lights and used the wiring from one side and wired in a LED light strip. Then used the screws that came with the strip to mount it. They are very cool at night time to see. Hope others use this as well. Thanks for looking.

I hope the Highway Patrol likes the looks as well. There are usually regulations about the plate light color, different colored lights change the plate and tag colors.

Some police cars around here have cameras that automatically run plate numbers through the system to check on outstanding infractions and tag validity. My son got nailed for an out of date tag on his plate.
