Default Re: Only 12,500 in Crossfires produced in 2005

You won't hear Chrysler giving out PRODUCTION data. The never provide such information to the public, at least not in a reliable fashion. They will build as many cars as they THINK they can sell, and maybe even a few thousand they don't. What Chrysler will provide to the public is accurate data on U.S. SALES, and they also provide worldwide sales data though I've found it harder to find.

Here's an update on a prior post:

Total U.S. Crossfire Sales

YTD (thru June 06) - 5,221
2005 - 14,665
2004 - 14,969
2003 - 4,021

Total U.S. Sales - 38,878

It's harder to find data for worldwide sales, but I found data for 2004 a while ago.
2004 worldwide (including U.S.) Crossfire sales - 22,680. So about 1/3 of Crossfires appear to be sold outside the U.S.

How many have been produced? Right around 61,000 04's and 05's. Don't know how many 06's.
