The tow alarm is the 170 820 19 26 that you mention according to my knowledge. You have the part and the number will be on it, so look and get the correct part instead of guessing.

The one I pulled out of the pool is 193 820 01 26, I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Mercedes part. Just curious, I intend to use one with the same number that was in the car.
